The VX and Prado both handle Rwanda’s national park tracks well in all seasons. The key differences: the VX has a higher roof (more headroom), more cargo capacity and a stronger engine for loaded safaris. The Prado has a better interior finish, a smoother ride on paved roads and is the most comfortable long-distance vehicle in the fleet for couples or small families. For a park-to-park circuit over 7 days, the VX is the better working safari vehicle. For a couple doing 2-3 park visits with a focus on comfort, the Prado is the better choice.
